What reps usually want to know.

Will my current employer find out?

Your SurgEx rep ID is independent. Orders flow through SurgEx, not your employer's systems. We never communicate with your employer about your activity. That said: review your employment agreement for non-compete or moonlighting clauses — those are your responsibility, and SurgEx cannot waive them.

What if my territory already has a SurgEx distributor of record?

You can still sell. Our wholesale pricing includes a built-in override for the distributor of record in your territory, paid directly to them — preserving their commercial relationship while letting you serve your surgeon. Channel conflict, by design, is structurally eliminated.

How does commission work?

You receive a percentage of every order flagged to your rep ID, paid Net 30. The exact percentage varies by product category, volume tier, and whether a territory override applies. Full transparency through your SurgEx dashboard.

Do I need to handle credentialing again?

Reps maintain their own credentials through the major systems (Reptrax, Vendormate, Symplr, GHX). SurgEx adds you as an authorized distributor representative once your application is approved. You don't credential twice for the same facility.

What products will I be selling?

The full SurgEx catalog: cortical fixation, suture anchors, interference screws, soft tissue repair, biomaterials, and instrumentation from a curated roster of FDA-cleared manufacturers. You'll have technique guides, IFUs, samples, and surgeon training materials for every product.

What's the time commitment?

As much or as little as your accounts demand. Most SurgEx reps are part-time alongside their primary employment. Some are independent full-time. There's no minimum quota.
